SCAFFOLDING ERECTION AND DISMANTLING
Every year thousands of accidents and hundreds of fatalities occur to workers with scaffolding jobs in the Oil & Gas and the Construction Industry. Most of the injuries involved in scaffold accidents were caused by either the planking or support giving way, workers falling or to the employee slipping. In addition, following incorrect operating procedures will also lead to an accident. Furthermore, environmental conditions, being struck by a falling materials, and plank slippage are apparently some of the most common cause of serious accidents. Unsafe scaffolding procedures can cause accidents, serious injuries and even death. However, scaffolding can give people an efficient and safe means to perform work. It also has many applications. When properly erected and maintained, scaffolding provides workers a safe access to work areas, level and stable working platforms, and temporary storage for tools and materials.

SITE & EQUIPMENT INSPECTION
NEFT ENERGIES provides a number of courses related to site and equipment inspection. These courses focuses on educating the participants on how to conduct a proper inspection on tools, and equipment which can include mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment. In addition Site & Equipment Inspection courses go over all the lifting equipment inspection items and highlights the proper methods to inspect equipment and report them. The course is designed to allow participants to be able to walkthrough a workplace or worksite and identify any factors that can cause injury or illness. This course will assist potential inspectors, managers, supervisors, committee members and health and safety representatives in performing effective inspections. The purpose of the inspection is to determine if hazards are present, if workers have been or are likely to be exposed to hazards, if anyone has been injured as a result of the exposure; and whether or not safe working procedures are being followed by workers.
SPILL PREVENTION CONTROL AND COUNTERMEASURES
This course is designed to introduce participants to Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasures. This course will educate participants on SPCC standards and having secondary containment for different types of chemical containers. Participants will be able to use spill kits at their workplace. Successful completion will prepare participants to identify hazards at work place and to monitor activities while handling & storing chemicals and contribute to the safer use and transport of chemicals and how to report any incident if occurred.
STANDBY MAN
Whenever a confined space job, critical welding job, is carried out, or any other type of critical job is ongoing, the team meets and nominates another worker who is competent and qualified to act as a Standby man. This Standby man must be properly equipped to carry out the supporting duties and responsibilities of a standby person without any hindrance as the fate of all the team members rest on him. A Standby man monitors the internal and external activities ?in and around? the ongoing job such as when working in a confined space. He is stationed at the entry point of the confined space monitoring thejob and to sound the alarm in case of any emergency.
STOP WORK AUTHORITY
Stop Work Authority (SWA) provides employees and contract workers with the responsibility and obligation to stop work when a perceived unsafe condition or behaviour may result in an unwanted event. Performing a Stop Work Authority to correct safety hazards and halt potential unsafe actions before they happen is not only responsible, but also effective. In the oil and gas industry in recent years, it's been one of the most successful approaches to safety.
T-BOSIET
The training programme provided below is designed to help delegates achieve the stated learning outcomes. Training element titled ?Travel Safely by Boat? which addressed the Brunei regional requirement for boat travel to and from oshore platforms and transfer between the vessel and the oshore platform. This training element has developed to meet the o-shore requirements and regulations to provide safety to the employees.
T-FOET
The aim of the T-FOET is to provide the delegates with the opportunity to practise and demonstrate emergency response skills which are not possible to practise during drills, exercises and emergency training oshore. The objectives of the T-FOET are that delegates will be able to: (a Demonstrate, in a simulated environment, that they can use the safety equipment and follow procedures in preparing for and during helicopter emergencies ? with particular focus on escaping from a helicopter following ditching. (b) Demonstrate that they can use basic firefighting equipment effectively, and use self-rescue techniques in low visibility and completely obscured visibility situations e.g. smoke filled areas. (c) Demonstrate that they can perform basic rst aid.
T-HUET
The Tropical HUET (T-HUET) training program will prepare delegates that intend to travel to and from offshore oil and gas installations and vessels by helicopter in a tropical environment by providing specific training in pre-flight and in-flight requirements and to equip delegates with the basic emergency response knowledge and skills required in the event of a helicopter emergency ? with specific focus on escaping from a helicopter following ditching and sea survival techniques.
VERTICAL RESCUE
When someone is suspended in mid-air after a fall, their lives hung in the balance. Even if they have survived the fall without a scratch. The intension of this training is to assist in understanding the implication of personnel?s falling, being arrested and then suspended by a harness which initially save them, but minutes later may kill them due to suspension trauma. This training will help participants understand the important of fall protection and rescue plan.
