FIREFIGHTING FOR TEAM LEADERS
NEFT Firefighting Course is designed to help in preventing and protecting the assets, the environment, employees, and the general public in emergency situations that can occur as a result of fire. The course will highlight various topics including classes of Fire, causes of fire, and optimum rescuing procedures. In addition to learning to how combat a fire within a team or simply when alone. The course will also highlight the roles and responsibilities of Fire team members, emergency escape plans and proper risk assessment on how to deal with a fire should it occur. The course will educate participants on how to identify the risks and hazards and how to properly deal with it.
RIG PASS ORIENTATION
Rig Pass is designed to provide new employees with a basic orientation of rig operations and safe work practices to improve the safety performance of the Service Contractor and the Operators and to assist both in satisfying industry regulations and recommended practices. The course will provide the participant the additional knowledge, skills, and appropriate attitudes to enable identification and management of their safety while working in the petroleum drilling and production industry.
DERRICK MAN – IADC
A Derrickman position has far more responsibilities and a more complex role than a Floorhand or a Roustabout. Derrickmen occasionally act as a supervisor to the crew or an assistant to the assistant driller. The Derrickman position requires a comprehensive knowledge of the entire Mud System from make-up and mixing of the mud, the chemicals and mud additives used, to the maintenance of the solids control system, Mud pit transfer lines, and to the Mud Pumps. The work also includes testing of the mud qualities and keeping the mud within the specifications required by both the Mud engineer in charge and the Driller or Assistant driller. Derrickmen have to be proficient in the operations of the Monkey Board and Stabbing Board during Tripping and Casing operations. Derrickmen is responsible for the maintenance and inspection of the Crown Block, Traveling Block, Swivel and Top Drive. When working on drilling operations, the Derrickman has to fully understand the process of well control and his role and duties during a well control incident or Hazardous mud chemical issues.
ASSISTANT DRILLER – IADC
The Rig Assistant Driller is responsible for assisting the driller on all his tasks and duties which can include and not limited to, drilling function, daily driller inspection, and daily supervision of rig activities. Assistant Driller will play a key role in rig start-ups operations on a new drilling site, assist in daily drilling, workover, and well control operations. This course will educate the participants on how to perform regular inspection on drilling systems and drilling equipment. They will learn how to operate on both a Joy stick cyber chair and a manual rig break type. The course will also focus on assembling bottom hole assembly, rig math, general and 3rd party service operations.
RISK ASSESSMENT & MANAGEMENT
This course provides an introduction on how to manage risks associated with daily activities in home, office or even at a work site. The course explains general concepts of risk identification and management, as well as how to manage the non-speculative risks of individuals and businesses. Emphasis will be placed on analyzing various types of operational and industrials sectors including life, health, property, and liability insurance contracts.The course will provide the participants with the proper planning skills on how to identify potential risks, hazards and practices on how to prevent, avoid and eliminate them. In addition, finding methods that would assess the risks properly and create alternatives.
