OFF- ROAD DEFENSIVE DRIVING | Approximately 1.3 million people die each year as a result of road traffic crashes. When driving, we sometimes take on a different personality and unfortunately that personality is often a reckless risk taker or someone overly aggressive. The safe and defensive driving training discusses the techniques for avoiding risk and aggression. This course also identifies numerous factors that appear as innocent action but have the potential to cause accidents and injuries. Having the right attitude is the key to driving safely on a public road or off-road no matter what type of vehicle it is. Off-road/Desert Defensive Driving is merely driving defensively to avoid collisions and incidents. This course is designed to instill necessary skills on driving techniques and the precautions in transport safety and movement of vehicle and people, specifically while driving off-road.Road traffic injuries are the leading cause of death for children and young adults aged 5-29 years. The most dangerous part of an employee?s workday is when they are commuting on the road. Just one work related motor vehicle collision with injuries could affect the organization's productivity and finances, but more importantly the health and future of the employees.
NEBOSH IGC | The NEBOSH International General Certicate (IGC) in Occupational Health and Safety is an Internationally recognized qualication that will provide a broad understanding of key health & safety issues , IGC covers the principles of identifying and controlling workplace hazards
NEAR MISS INCIDENT & ACCIDENT REPORTING | Accident investigations are necessary to identify accident causation and ensure the effective implementation of corrective actions. Managers and supervisors should have the necessary skills to investigate and report all occurrences (near misses, accidents, illnesses) in the form of a written report.

Both manual lifting and mechanical lifting operations can put construction workers at great risk of injury or health symptoms causing sick leave or disability. The costs of accidents and ill health related to lifting operations, are immense. This article describes the risks associated with lifting operations in the construction industry and measures to reduce these risks. The aim of this course is to minimize the possibility of back strain, damaged fingers or other injuries by using mechanical lifting equipment such as a pulley block or an electrically powered hoist. Move heavy objects with a forklift, crane or other mechanical lifting equipment. Mechanical lifting equipment must only be used by fully qualified people.
MANUAL HANDLING & LOAD SECURING TECHNIQUES | This course will help your organization reduce the number of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs), associated with Manual Handling, which is the most commonly reported type of work-related ill health. Every organization has potentially harmful manual handling tasks, this is why manual handling training and awareness plays such a central role in occupational safety. Manual Material Handling (MMH) is an important application of ergonomic principles that especially addresses back injury prevention. However, safe loading is for any type of cargo that must be contained or secured, and safely placed in / at the vehicles. The load must be properly secured to prevent danger to personnel, public, and even the driver that?s transporting the materials.
MANLIFT TRAINING (IPAF) | The premier training course for the safe use, inspection and supervision of Powered Access Equipment. The equipment must be in a safe condition so that the work can be performed. This means de-energizing the equipment, which means removing all sources of energy. The equipment must then be locked out (LO) so that it cannot be turned on or opened during the repairs or maintenance. Locked out equipment is identified with a tag that tells the other workers about the work being in progress. Locking and tagging equipment lets others know that it must not be energized. This course will highlight in depth the Lock-Out, Tag-Out (LOTO) program and educate participants on how to properly secure it.

JOB SAFETY ANALYSIS (JSA) | Job Safety Analysis (JSA) is a procedure which helps integrate accepted safety and health principles and practices in to a particular task or job operation. In a JSA each basic step of the job is identify potential hazards and to recommend the safest way to do the job. Other terms used to describe this procedure are Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) AND Job Hazard Breakdown. This course will help identify the hazards in any given operation ? task and will set the proper procedures to accomplish the operation safely, efficiently and effectively without causing any damages to the environment on injury to personnel or loss of equipment. This course will cover the four key components of a JSA which includes selecting the job to be analysed, breaking the job in to sequence of steps, identifying the potential hazards, and determining the preventive measure to overcome these hazards. |
