HELIDECK OPERATIONS INITIAL TRAINING – HOIT
The aim and objectives of the Helideck Operations Initial Training programme are to equip the delegate with the initial knowledge, understanding and skills required to perform the roles of offshore Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO) and Offshore Helideck Assistant (HDA) safely and effectively.
HAND AND POWER TOOL SAFETY
In 2017 there were 991 reported fatalities in the workplace. Not all of these were due to hand and power tools, yet it's important to understand that using defective tools, or not using tools correctly do cause fatalities as well as serious injuries. Hand and power tools are a common part of our everyday lives and are present in nearly every industry. These tools help us easily perform tasks that otherwise would be difficult or impossible. Hand and power tool hazards are addressed in specific standards for the general industry, shipyard employment, marine terminals, longshoring, and the construction industry. This course is designed to present to employees and employers a summary of the basic safety procedures and safeguards associated with hand and portable power tools.
RIG INSPECTION WORKSHOP

NEFT-OCS Training Institute is pleased to co-operate with a Global provider of Rig Inspection/Audits, Commissioning, Compliance & Acceptance as well as & Engineering for Offshore Drilling Rigs, to deliver Drilling Rig Inspection Workshops (RIW) which teaches the inspection & maintenance procedures required to ensure equipment integrity. Candidates learn to implement the relevant standards & understand industry requirements so that they can verify the condition of a rig?s equipment & improve safety, thus reducing the number of accidents and protecting the asset.
WHEEL LOADER SAFETY
The NEFT wheel loader course is designed to help participants understand the safe procedures while driving heavy equipment?s like wheel loader. Heavy vehicles are one of the main cause of accidents on sites, trained operators and safe procedures will make help reducing the accidents. In this course students will understand safe handling of loads, pre-use inspections, safe task procedures and relevant health & safety standards.
MANLIFT TRAINING (IPAF)
The premier training course for the safe use, inspection and supervision of Powered Access Equipment. Candidates will gain an understanding of the need for accident prevention and safe operational procedures. The IPAF certification is designed to provide essential training in order to operate vertical platforms and static boom platforms which commonly includes scissor lifts, vertical lifts and boom lifts. IPAF is offering various training modules which includes IPAF 1a, 1b, 3a and 3b. The IPAF 1a training is designed for people who need to work with static vertical lifts whereas IPAF 1b is suitable for people looking to work with static boom lifts. As compare to that IPAF 3a is recommended for Scissor lifts, vertical personnel platforms (mobile) and IPAF 3b is designed for self?propelled booms.
BASICS OF ENVIRONMENT
Provide proof of your environmental credentials anywhere in the world with the NEBOSH Certicate in Environmental Management. Our program starts in advance of the taught course, as participants undertake a review of their own site's environmental performance using documentation supplied to them. CERTIFIED SAFETY AUDITING, HAZARD IDENTIFICATION & SITE INSPECTION: SAFETY INSPECTION OR QUALITY
This hands-on, highly-interactive course includes practical sessions for safety auditing and site inspection. Theory learnt in the class will be applied using PSM and HSE system auditing for hazard identication and site inspection in accordance with the applicable international standards. PSM and HSE System auditing is an independent appraisal function undertaken by an organization to examine and evaluate its activities. The objective of PSM and HSE auditing is to provide information to those in management in support of decision making and to assist members of the organization in the effective discharge of their responsibilities. To this end, PSM & HSE auditing may furnish the organization with analyses, appraisals, recommendations, counsel, or information concerning the activities reviewed the adequacy and eectiveness of the organization's system of PSM/HSE control, and the quality of performance. The information furnished to dierent members of the organization may vary in format and detail, depending upon the requirements and requests of those commissioning the audit(s). Throughout the world PSM/HSE auditing is performed in diverse environments and within organizations which vary in purpose, size, and structure. In addition, the laws and customs within various countries dier from one another.
