NEFT Firefighting Course is designed to help in preventing and protecting the assets, theenvironment, employees, and the general public in emergency situations that can occur as a result of fire. The course will highlight various topics including classes of Fire, causesof fire, and optimum rescuing procedures. In addition to learning to how combat a fire within a team or simply when alone. The course will also highlight the roles and responsibilities of Fire team members, emergency escape plans and proper risk assessment on how to deal with a fire should it occur. The course will educate participants on how to identify the risks and hazards and how to properly deal with it.

In work zones, flagmen are provided to stop traffic as necessitated by the work; or to maintain continuous traffic flow through the work zone at safe speeds. Hazardous material handling (HAZMAT) is a course that has been designed to introduce and effectively educate participants on how to properly deal with all the materials or substances that poses a danger to life, property, or the environment if improperly stored, shipped or handled. Working environment include a number of hazardous materials, and in order to minimize the risk of hazardous materials, personnel should know how to recognize the presence of hazardous material, and understand the requirements of transporting HAZMAT materials as per the international and local standards. A recognized international standard is the (Department of Transportation) DOT. The (National Fire Protection Association) NFPA is another recognized international standard.
