Confined space rescue requires a trained team consisting of at least
two rescuers entering the space, a top-side operator managing the tripod
and ropes, and a team leader overseeing safety and
communication.
All personnel must be competent in confined space entry, rope systems,
victim assessment, stretcher handling, and emergency procedures. A
standby backup team must remain ready to intervene to ensure a safe and
controlled rescue including civil defense & ambulance services.
