RESPIRATORY PROTECTION
Respirators protect workers by preventing exposures to harmful airborne chemical and biological agents. However, a respirator that is not used properly will fail to provide adequate protection, and may even cause certain hazardous conditions A respirator is one type of control often selected when ventilation controls such as local exhaust or enclosure are not feasible or sufficient.
ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION
Incidents occur every day in workplaces all over the world. Discovering the causes of accidents and incidents can help prevent their recurrence. A systematic and thorough accident investigation is the best means to discover causes of accidents. The objective of this course is to gain a basic understanding of the many benets of incident/accident investigation. Most importantly accident prevention. During the course, participants will learn the basic causes of accidents and how to conduct an incident investigation. In addition, participants will be able to identify the goals of incident investigation, the dierence between a major and minor incidents and how to categorize them. The course will also cover the direct, indirect, and root causes of accidents along with the basic steps in incident-accident investigation.
STANDBY MAN
Whenever a confined space job, critical welding job, is carried out, or any other type of critical job is ongoing, the team meets and nominates another worker who is competent and qualified to act as a Standby man. This Standby man must be properly equipped to carry out the supporting duties and responsibilities of a standby person without any hindrance as the fate of all the team members rest on him. A Standby man monitors the internal and external activities ?in and around? the ongoing job such as when working in a confined space. He is stationed at the entry point of the confined space monitoring thejob and to sound the alarm in case of any emergency.
HEAT STRESS
Due to the Saudi hot climate and working conditions in industrial and plant facilities, heat can create a series of conditions where the human body could take on stress from overheating. Heat- related illnesses include heat cramps, heat exhaustion, heat rash, or heat stroke, each with its own symptoms and treatments. Symptoms can range from profuse sweating to dizziness, cessation of sweating, and collapse. At greatest risk of heat stroke are the elderly, children, and people with medical conditions, such as heart disease. However, even young and healthy individuals can succumb to heat if they participate in strenuous physical activities during hot weather. This course will assist participants on identifying areas where heat stress can occur and will highlight the proper methods on heat stress prevention in the workplace and during hot temperature seasons.
HEAVY MACHINERY
The Heavy Machinery Training course was designed to provide participants with the required basic skills, practicality and knowledge of the functional safety associated with the operation of heavy equipment. In addition, the course will cover areas on how to avoid injuries and accidents by training operators on required safety procedures such as how to inspect before and after the use of equipment, making the work environment safe.
CORONAVIRUS
Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that are known to cause illnesses ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). COVID-19 is a new Coronavirus that has not been previously identified in humans. This course provides a general introduction to COVID-19, how it is transmitted, and proper prevention to control emerging respiratory viruses. The course is intended to help prevent viral infections and reduce the effects in case of getting infected
BEHAVIOR-BASED SAFETY (BBS)
Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) is the methodology to safety that focuses on workers?behavior as the cause of most work-related injuries and illnesses. According to statistics, around 80 to 90 percent of all incidents, the employee behavior played an essential part. BBS focuses on identifying and reinforcing a safety culture and should provide the employees the opportunity to address the critical aspects of building and promoting an incident free culture. This course will focus on identifying and reinforcing safe behaviors, therefore reducing unsafe/at-risk behaviors. Safety in the workplace is influenced by a number of factors such as the environment, attitude, commitment and the personal attributes of the individual. Safety performance can be improved by addressing these major influences.
GENERAL SAFETY
Workplace safety hazards can cause number of serious accidents, in order to avoid these accidents employees should follow some general safety rules. Avoiding unsafe acts & conditions will play an important role in reducing the near misses, accidents etc. The course is designed to increase the awareness among the participants on unsafe acts & conditions, general safety rules, incident reporting and safe practices to follow while working on the sites, plants & factories etc. The course will also raise the awareness of their duties & responsibilities of participants towards safety.
WALKIE STACKER FORKLIFT
This course is designed to present fundamental information on Walkie Stacker Forklift. The course will highlight the importance of checking out the equipment before operating it. In addition, the course will educate participants on how to properly survey the areas in which personnel will operate their equipment for potentially hazardous situations. Personnel attending this course will learn how operate their walkie stacker forklift using safe driving techniques, learn how to pick up and deliver loads safely, learn how to load and unload trucks and other vehicles. Finally, learn how to maintain properly and safely
DEFENSIVE DRIVING FOR OFF ROAD 4×4 VEHICLES
When driving, we sometimes take on a dierent personality, and unfortunately . That personality is often a reckless risk taker, or someone overly aggressive. The Safe and Defensive Driving training module discusses tips and techniques for Avoiding risks and aggression. This course also identifes numerous factors that appear as innocent actions, but have the potential to cause accidents and injuries. Having the right attitude is the key to driving safely on a public road and/or off road no matter what type of vehicle it is.The most dangerous part of an employees' workday is when they are commuting on the road. Just one work-related motor vehicle collision with injuries could affect the organization's productivity and finances, but more importantly, the health and future of the employee or employees in the vehicle.
