CRANE OPERATOR | Crane accidents cause injuries to operators, workers on the job site and even people nearby. The majority of crane accidents are caused by human error which may result in safety risks and uncontrollable downtime. Accidents can be minimized or prevented through proper training and crane usage. Crane Operator Training is designed for crane operators and the supervisory personnel responsible for the daily operation and safe performance of cranes. The training gives participants the working knowledge to assist in reducing operator errors that may lead to unnecessary downtime. Crane operator training can provide additional knowledge to help avoid possible serious injury to personnel caused by improper crane operation. Participants will learn local requirements for crane operation.Depending on the client requirements, Crane operator training can be made for general or specific categories such as for offshore crane, Mobile Crane, Tower Crane and Overhead Crane. In addition, the Crane Operator Training comes in various levels, awareness, basic, and advance.
HAZARD RECOGNITION / IDENTIFICATION | Hazard identification is a key part of any injury & illness prevention program within the workplace. If hazards are not identified, then they cannot be mitigated properly. In order to maintain healthy & positive working environment, it is important to recognize hazards and implement control measure to eliminate or mitigate those hazards. Working within the workplace on daily basis imposes numerous hazards, failure to recognize the nature of these hazards will lead to incidents, accidents, injuries or deaths. The course provides methodology for identifying hazards in the form of formal inspections, safety surveys and methods to conduct Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)/ Job Safety Analysis (JSA). The course will highlight how to properly evaluate hazards depending on their risk priority and will provide the suitable control measures such as elimination, substitution, engineering controls or administrative controls. This course will also cover the required personal protective equipment to reduce the risk of hazards. In addition this course will provide an understanding of the formal processes required to identify, control and monitor hazards in the workplace

SCAFFOLDING ERECTION AND DISMANTLING | Every year thousands of accidents and hundreds of fatalities occur to workers with scaffolding jobs in the Oil & Gas and the Construction Industry. Most of the injuries involved in scaffold accidents were caused by either the planking or support giving way, workers falling or to the employee slipping. In addition, following incorrect operating procedures will also lead to an accident. Furthermore, environmental conditions, being struck by a falling materials, and plank slippage are apparently some of the most common cause of serious accidents. Unsafe scaffolding procedures can cause accidents, serious injuries and even death. However, scaffolding can give people an efficient and safe means to perform work. It also has many applications. When properly erected and maintained, scaffolding provides workers a safe access to work areas, level and stable working platforms, and temporary storage for tools and materials.
SPILL PREVENTION CONTROL AND COUNTERMEASURES | This course is designed to introduce participants to Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasures. This course will educate participants on SPCC standards and having secondary containment for different types of chemical containers. Participants will be able to use spill kits at their workplace. Successful completion will prepare participants to identify hazards at work place and to monitor activities while handling & storing chemicals and contribute to the safer use and transport of chemicals and how to report any incident if occurred.
CONTRACTOR SAFETY MANAGEMENT | In many companies, contractors work 50%+ of the hours in the field. That?s why it is important to prequalify, select, mobilize, execute, demobilize, and close out contracted activities to a high standard. An effective relationship between clients and contractors at all stages of the supply chain is essential for competently managing health and safety in a facility or project. In just five-days, you?ll learn the processes for developing and managing a contractor safety management system based on recognized management systems, such as API Recommended Practice 2220 ?Contractor Safety Performance Process? and OGP ?Guidelines for Working together in Contracting Environment?. The course includes knowledge development sessions, practical exercises and problem-solving set in a case study setting. The course concludes with a contractor pre-qualification, selection, and justification exercise.
INCIDENT INVESTGATION & ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS | Incidents occur every day in workplaces all over the world. Discovering the causes of accidents and incidents can help prevent their recurrence. A systematic and thorough accident investigation is the best means to discover causes of accidents. The objective of this course is to gain a basic understanding of the many benefits of incident/accident investigation. Most importantly accident prevention. During the course, participants will learn the basic causes of accidents and how to conduct an incident investigation. In addition, participants will be able to identify the goals of incident investigation, the difference between a major and minor incidents and how to categorize them. The course will also cover the direct, indirect, and root causes of accidents along with the basic steps in incident-accident investigation.
